To best serve our degree-completing students, this program requires at least 24 semester credit hours of transfer credit with a minimum GPA of 2.25.

App State Online accepts basic law enforcement training (BLET) coursework from North Carolina Community Colleges. BLET courses count toward up to 20 elective credit hours in the BS in Organizational Leadership and Learning program.

Curriculum & Courses

The BS in Organizational Leadership and Learning Flight Path Program is a 120 credit hour degree designed to be completed 100% online. Transfer credits may significantly reduce your time to graduation. Course requirements include:

Foundations of American Democracy Requirement (3 Hours)

Three (3) credits of Foundations of American Democracy (FAD) are required for degree completion. Courses that meet this requirement may also be used to meet other major, minor, or General Education requirements.

Angela Brown holds a BS in Accounting and Business Education from Virginia Tech and an MA in Educational Media/Instructional Technology with a concentration in New Media and Global Education from Appalachian State University. Angela currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Media, Career Studies & Leadership Development and the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program within the Reich College of Education at Appalachian State University.
